Peg Moline has been involved in health and fitness journalism for 30 years. As the founding editor in chief of Fit Pregnancy magazine, she has been giving trusted advice to pregnant women and new mothers for more than 20 years.
Holding multiple roles at Weider/AMI Publications, Moline served as editorial director of Shape and editor in chief of Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health. Fit Pregnancy – which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013 — began as a spin-off of Shape in 1993, and has grown to be the most widely respected magazine for new and expectant mothers. Natural Health just marked its 40th year of publication.
Prior to joining Weider/AMI, Moline was the fitness editor of Self, based in New York. She started her career as an editor at City Sports magazine, based in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Boston. She is author of a book scheduled for release in April 2014, The Doctor’s Book of Natural Health Remedies (Galvanized Press) and is co-author (with Sam Dworkis) of Extension: The 20-Minute-A-Day Yoga-Based Program to Relax and Rejuvenate the Average Stressed-Out Over-35 Body (Poseidon Press).
Now a spokesperson for NUK baby products, as well as a contributor to The Good Life: The Dr. Oz Magazine, and other publications, Moline also serves as a publishing, personal and product consultant in the pregnancy, baby and natural living spaces.
A competitive sweep rower and outrigger canoe paddler, Moline also practices yoga and loves to camp and hike with her daughters, Maggie (18) and Lily (21). The family lives in Mar Vista, a Westside community in Los Angeles.
